Meet Your Neighbours: Kathleen and Philippe

Meet Kathleen and Philippe! They were one of our first neighbours in The Meadows and one of the first owners of a Sagebrush bungalow plan at Sterling Gate. Here’s what they have to say about one of the newest communities in Saskatoon.
Why did you choose to call The Meadows your home?
We were living in Briarwood and received a flyer in the mail for The Meadows. We came into the original Sagebrush Showhome and it felt like “home”. We loved everything about the design and plan, and knew the moment we saw it that we would purchase.
Why did you choose your particular home – The Sterling Gate Sagebrush bungalow?
We fell in love with the design, colour palette and furnishings. The outstanding work from the designer hooked Kathleen.
What is your favorite feature of your home?
All of it but especially the kitchen. Since moving in, we’ve had more dinner/theme parties than any other home. This is the best home to entertain in.
Why did you choose Arbutus Properties over another home builder?
Unique home design, colours and layout. We love the 10 foot ceilings.
What is the coolest thing about you?
Kathleen – I’m a musician. I can play 6 instruments and I play in 2 bands.
Weirdest thing you ever ate?
Philippe – Squid ink pasta in Mexico
Most triumphant moment?
Kathleen – Fourth year recital at university for my music degree.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Kathleen – Invisibility
Do you have a hidden talent that people don’t know about?
Kathleen – I teach a Renaissance dance class.
