Winter Things To Do In Saskatoon
November 28, 2015
Are you looking for something fun to do with your family and friends this Christmas holiday season in Saskatoon?
To get into the spirit of the holidays, please come visit us at The Meadows, located in the southeast part of Saskatoon. We are having our second Annual Festival of Lights Celebration – STARRY NIGHTS – from December 5th to January 3rd.
Come visit the magical twinkling lights competition!
To encourage a little friendly competition in our community, we are challenging neighbours to decorate their home and help transform their neighbourhood into a festival of lights for all to enjoy!
On December 17th, our panel of celebrity judges including his Worship Mayor Atchison, Bob Woods, Head Coach for The Saskatoon Blades, and Kevin Stanfield from Global Saskatoon Morning News will begin their tour of The Meadows at 7:00pm and choose the winners of Starry Nights.
What’s a little friendly competition without a little incentive? We are offering cash prizes for our winners!
Grand Prize – $1500
2nd Prize $500
3rd Prize $250
Don’t forget to come by our free outdoor ice-skating rink where you can also enjoy some winter outdoor fun! Our rink will be open all winter long for your pleasure…weather dependent of course!
Then warm up with some hot apple cider and cookies at our showhomes and check out our holiday décor for some festive inspiration. Our holiday Showhomes are located at #25 – 115 Meadows Boulevard and 455 Eaton Lane, and will be open Tuesday to Thursday from 4 – 8 pm and on the Weekends from 1 – 5pm. Of course, if you’d like to see any of our other Showhomes, we’d be more than happy to take you on a tour.
Happy Holidays and we hope you enjoy our twinkling lights and ice-skating at The Meadows!
