Rosewood Community Updates that will be happening in the next few months:
THE MEADOWS MARKET:
We are servicing the next phase of this commercial area this year and will be announcing updates very soon!
STRUTHERS PARK:
We know our community has been waiting patiently for this park. We cannot wait for the City of Sasaktoon to start work on this. Here is what we know so far – “A detailed draft concept plan of Struthers Park is currently being prepared and is anticipated to be placed on SaskTenders in June 2017 with work beginning this summer”.
As soon as we have more information, we will keep you posted.
ROSEWOOD FAMILY FUN DAY!:
On Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Hyde Park, from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm there will be a Pancake Breakfast, The Animal Barn Petting Zoo, Just Horsein’ Around Pony Rides, BBQ (by cash donation), Inflatable Castle, and so much more!

GRAND SHOWHOME OPENING:
Don’t forget about our family fun day and our showhome grand opening event:

We have a FREE fun-filled day planned for the neighbourhood and would love to have you join us to celebrate our newest Showhome grand opening! This is a free event but any donations and proceeds will go to New Hope Dog Rescue.

SCHOOL UPDATES:
ROSEWOOD PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION:
It’s that time of year again. This school year is over and it’s already time to start thinking about the next school year. If you have small children who will be starting pre-school in the fall it is time to register them here or e-mail: rosewoodpreschool@gmail.com
Tuesday/Thursday Classes:
9:15 – 11:30 AM
$95 / month
Monday/Wednesday/Friday Classes:
$120 / month
ROSEWOOD ELEMENTARTY SCHOOLS:
We are three months away from the schools opening in September 2017!
An Open House is scheduled between 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM during Rosewood’s Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 26, 2017.
Junior playground structures will be installed prior to the 2017/2018 school year and this should be happening quickly.
Fundraising for senior playground structures has been ongoing. It has not been confirmed if they will be completed at the time of opening.

ROSEWOOD BABYSITTING COURSE FOR YOUR KIDS 11+:
The babysitting course provides youth 11+ the knowledge and confidence to be able to babysit and earn some extra money. In these courses, your children will learn about age appropriate games and activities. They will also learn first aid basics and how to keep themselves safe while they are looking after children younger then them.
